Designer who listens first.
I spent 3+ years as a Special Education teacher learning what most designers learn the hard way — how to meet people exactly where they are. I wrote IEPs for students with wildly different needs, adapted lessons on the fly, and measured success not by my assumptions but by their outcomes.
That same muscle drives my design work. I don't start with what looks good — I start with who I'm designing for, what they're struggling with, and how to make their experience feel effortless.
Now I'm focused on product-driven UX roles where I can combine deep user research with polished, accessible interfaces. I'm especially drawn to products that serve real people solving real problems — truckers managing their business, cooks sharing their kitchen, anyone who deserves better tools.
